This expansive work is further evidence that Robert W. Smith has arrived in the world of serious band literature. A programmatic work based on Dante Alighieri's "The Divine Comedy," this is the third movement in Robert's four-movement symphony depicting Alighieri's work.  This fascinating work truly deserves the consideration of upper level ensembles.
