Publisher Desc.  Sketches of Wonderland was written to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the establishment of Yellowstone National Park. The composition consists of five musical impressions of the park features, bookended by a theme whose echoes are heard throughout the work. The five sketches in order depict, Mammoth Hot Springs, Bison Jam, Grand Prismatic Spring, Canyon Waterfalls, and Old Faithful Geyser.
