This straight-ahead blues swinger has no solos, just solid ensemble writing. It is ideal for teaching the basic concepts of swing in the classic big-band tradition.  Essentially based on a 12-bar blues form with a few alterations, your rhythm section will quickly pick up on the changes (which are also written out in the part).  This one's arranged to sound full and complete with as few as 3 Saxes (AAT), 2 Trumpets, 1 Trombone and Rhythm Section.  An accessible chart with a mature sound!  Now... who said having "the blues" wasn't any fun?
