Written for 10 or 11 performers, this advanced ensemble provides a dominating 7/8 feel, flashy keyboard runs and ethnic modalities to drive the three distinct sections of this groove based work.  This four minute piece uses a number of unique instruments including: three vibes, three marimbas (all with low A), bass guitar, djembe, crotales, mark tree, two gong drums and two shekeres.  An optional 11th player may be added as a featured marimba soloist.  Other solos may be traded among some (or all) other performers during the 6/8 African section ensuring that no two performances of this piece will ever be the same.
