Caminemos con Jesus is a liturgical celebration of the beauty, passion, and vitality of Cuban music. Fusing lyrical Spanish melodies and complex African rhythms in a distinctive call-and-response format, it creatively imagines the liturgical rites, seasons, and texts of the composer's Cuban heritage. With both Spanish and English texts, it is accompanied by piano or guitar, or by a more elaborate ensemble.
