Christians, to the Paschal Victim
This arrangement of the medieval chant Victimae paschali laudes, which is used in more liturgical chuches at Easter, begins with a simple original melody that is also used as an interlude between sections. The chant follows, accompanied by an LV bass line, then again with optional handchimes in canon. The final portion grows in texture, volume, and intensity to the glorious "Amen. Alleluia!" Optional 2-, 6-, or 7-octave handchimes.
