A wide array of musical effects are presented in this depiction of the ancient city of Petra, where inhabitants carved their temples and tombs into the sandstone.  Detached accented notes, flowing melodic lines and a variety of ethnic-sounding percussion instruments are combined to create this captivating concert selection.
