Bill Swick's Beginning Guitar Class Method - Quarter Three
This reproducible resource/method covers playing in first position over 65 pages of materials. Includes weekly string exercises; accidentals; songs in the key of G major; duets; chords; and scales, all in first position and more. At the completion of this text, students will have learned to play all of the notes in the keys of C major, A minor, G major, and E minor on all of the strings in first position. This text is intended as either a stand-alone class method or as a supplement to any beginning guitar text. Using this resource as a supplement provides rich classroom activities to enhance and fill in the gaps other beginning guitar methods - which are usually written for individual use and not for the classroom - leave. As most school quarters last 45 instructional days, there is enough material for more than a new page every single day.
